A beautifully distinctive expression of Syrah from Naramata’s granite and alluvial soils, this wine opens with striking ferrous aromas—dark cherry, black raspberry, and cracked pepper—wrapped in a gently earthy frame. Basket-pressed and aged for 18 months in neutral oak, it was bottled unfined and unfiltered, preserving the wine’s pure, textural character. Tannins are softly grippy and fine, acidity is moderate, and the finish lingers with notes of violet and peppercorn. A lifted, elegant Syrah that’s ready to enjoy now.
