Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern membership in The Skeena Vine ("the Club," "we," "us," or "our"). By purchasing a membership, you agree to abide by these Terms.
 

1. Age Requirement

You must be 19 years of age or older to purchase and maintain a membership in the Club. By signing up, you confirm that you meet this legal requirement.
 

2. Membership Commitment

  • Annual Commitment: Once your membership is purchased for the year, it is non-refundable.

  • Failure to Maintain Requirements: If you are unable to meet membership obligations (as defined below), your membership will not be renewed for the following year, and your space will be offered to those on the waitlist.

  • Early Cancellation (Before February 1st): If you wish to leave the Club prior to February 1st, you may transfer your membership to another individual. This will be offered to our waitlist members. This process requires:

    • A $49 transfer fee paid by you (the transferring member).

    • A pro-rated fee paid by the recipient

    • The recipient must also purchase ISO glasses for $40.

  • After February 1st, no transfers or cancellations are allowed for the current membership year.
     

3. Annual Wine Purchase Requirement

To maintain your membership in good standing, you agree to purchase a minimum of 12 bottles of wine per membership year. Failure to meet this requirement will result in non-renewal of your membership for the following year.
 

4. Responsible Alcohol Service and Personal Accountability

  • All Club events will comply with Serving It Right standards.

  • You are solely responsible for your behavior, actions, and any resulting consequences or damages while participating in Club activities. The Club and its facilitators assume no liability for your personal conduct.
     

5. Automatic Renewal

Unless you provide written notice of cancellation before the renewal deadline ([specify date, e.g., December 15th]), your membership may automatically renew for the following year. You will be notified in advance of the renewal deadline.
 

6. Modifications

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to members via email and posted on our website. Continued membership after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
